Twenty (20) BIC Pens. Children who cannot afford pens often must borrow one from a classmate in order to take notes. If they cannot borrow a pen, they are unable to take notes and their performance suffers.

Children in primary school use a school bag to carry their books and other supplies to and from school. The bag also provides protection for their books during the rainy season when books may become wet and ruined.
Bed Sheets and Pillow Case
Some vulnerable children must sleep without sheets, instead covering themselves with parts of the mat they sleep on. This item improves the sleeping conditions of the child who receives it.

Malaria remains a serious concern and cause of death in Africa. These insecticide-treated mosquito nets help prevent dangerous mosquito bites.

Most schools do not provide meals. This item allows a child to pack food for breakfast and lunch during the school day.
This item improves the sleeping conditions of the child who receives it, especially during cold nights.
Pair of Shoes
Pair of boys or girls shoes including two pairs of socks. Many children are unable to afford shoes and must go to school barefoot. These shoes keep a child comfortable and can protect against diseases on the ground.
This fund supports the nutrition of children by providing food to those who cannot afford it.
Girls and Women in Crisis Fund
This fund supports girls and young mothers by assisting with their basic needs.
Barefoot Power Solar Lamp System
In many areas, electricity is unavailable or unaffordable. Solar lamps support the education of children by providing light for studying. It is the safest and most effective way for rural children to read their books.

This item assists children traveling to and from school. The average distance that these children cover on foot every day is over 3 miles.
This item will be given to a specific orphan who will finish a training course in tailoring. It allows them to get set up in their trade with a start-up kit that they would otherwise be unable to afford.

Agriculture has many benefits for families who produce crops. This item helps by providing irrigation during the dry season.
Construct a Home Fund
This fund contributes to housing for children. Some cannot afford to build a house for themselves, so they often live in grass thatch huts, which don’t provide much shelter.
